HOW TO USE FENUGREEK

No-more-acne and dark circles mask: make a paste with fenugreek powder and cucumber juice. You can finely grate a cucumber and use the pulp and juice if you like. Apply the paste to your face, leave for 15 minutes, rinse and pat dry.

Healthy glow face pack: mix fenugreek powder with enough full cream milk to make a paste. Apply to your face and neck, leave for 20 minutes, rinse and pat dry

The fenugreek and aloe vera moisturizing face pack: mix equal quantities of fenugreek and aloe vera powders (a teaspoon of each is usually enough), a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of grapeseed oil (or a cold-pressed oil of your choice), and enough filtered water to make a paste. Apply to your face and neck, leave for 30 minutes, rinse and pat dry.

Hair growth booster treatment: mix 2 tablespoons of fenugreek powder, 2 tablespoons of aloe vera powder, 1 tablespoon of bhringraj powder into a paste with some filtered water and a cold-pressed oil of your choice. Cold-pressed coconut, olive or jojoba oils are good. You can also add about 4 drops of rosemary essential oil if you like. Apply this paste to your scalp, wrap up to prevent drips, leave it for an hour, wash with a mild shampoo and condition as usual. Repeat monthly.

The banish dandruff hair treatment: mix 2 tablespoons of fenugreek powder with 2 tablespoons of natural, plain yoghurt (not the flavoured, sugary kind) and enough filtered water to make a paste. Apply it to your scalp, leaving it on for 30 minutes. Rinse and wash with a mild shampoo. Repeat twice a week.
