SHIPMENTS AND RETURNS
Products are only delivered in the Republic of South Africa.
People outside of South Africa will have to make their own arrangements for collection and delivery.
The provision of goods and services by Splendit is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Splendit will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Delivery time: Parcels are dispatched between 1 & 2 days from the time payment has cleared.
From the time of dispatch delivery is usually between 3 and 5 working days in main areas and 5 to 7 in outlying area. We are not responsible for any delays by the courier company.
Splendit uses the following methods of delivery.
Courier – Door to Door delivery.
Counter to Counter- If our courier is unable to service your area we will use this option via Paxi or an alternative.
For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the Products at the delivery address is conclusively presumed to be authorized to accept delivery on your behalf.
Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will retain the Products and a notice will be left at the delivery address to this effect. Our representative will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. Splendit reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required to make a further delivery or collection if no one is at the delivery address to receive the Products or hand over the returned Products, as the case may be.
Splendit’s liability for failing to deliver the Products on the day indicated by you or at all, is limited to the Products being delivered at a later agreed time at no additional charge. You are required to ensure that you or an authorised person shall be in attendance at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available. On delivery, the person accepting delivery shall be required to sign and print his/her name as against a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt of the delivery. Splendit has outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, Splendit shall not be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, it’s owner, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.
We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time before delivery.
Unless products state free delivery, there will be a delivery charge.
Cost- Estimated cost is about R100.00 (Main Areas) R120.00 (Outlying)
Orders over R850 (Main Areas) R1000.00 (Outlying) free delivery (subject to t n c’s)
Larger parcels and areas where the courier may charge additional fees may attract additional charges which we will quote you if need be.
Costs will vary according to delivery location, weight and size of package and insured amount.
If you are not satisfied with a product, please notify us within 7 days and we will supply you with a return address.
Items will be refunded with a cash refund providing that you do not use the item; it is in the same condition as when you first bought it; and, you have taken reasonable care to ensure that any item is returned to us safely and not damaged in transit. We suggest insuring the parcel as we are not responsible if it does not reach us.
Unfortunately, delivery and package costs to return the item and delivery charges on order of the item are non refundable and we are not held responsible for returns that do not reach us.
In the event of the goods being faulty however, we will cover all costs of delivery and either refund in cash, credit note or exchange the goods. Please check carefully before returning any item and contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Please note items such as beauty products that may not agree with you are not considered faulty and will no be refunded. Please make sure of ingredients and allergens before purchasing a product. If they are not available on the website you may request them or check on the manufacturers page.
In certain cases we may charge up to 30% on returned items i.e Items need to be repackaged etc.
We will confirm when your return or exchange has been processed.
Please note that items supplied on special orders and wholesale orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
